The biggest challenge was trying to measure everything accurately and not leaving out any details, and it was hard to work in a dusty and hot environment but still I enjoyed the project.

This project might be a very important documentation for this old building which had been through several times of renovation.

It was sad to see that the building we were working on was not in a good condition and the second floor have been abandon. Even the ground floor have been occupied to sell western apparel. But I've seen all of the group members paid their efforts in getting things done in the right time and right way. As the leader of Team Bunga Raya, I felt much relieved by knowing that the team is capable and efficient enough to deliver the tasks that we had planned to do. It's a great experience to involve in documenting this 99 years old building with least amount of information available. Thus, it's also a chance for us to prove that it's not about the difficulty to finish, but having faith in doing it. The architecture of this building had also proven the existence of Dutch rulers in Malacca during the old times. We were not able to learn much about the history of our building, but the heritage and culture of Malacca is clearly reflected through the architecture of the building. There was a real dissimilitude between the function of both floors which i find it interesting. Where the ground floor was transformed into a clothing store, yet second floor remain obsolete. Even though we faced a few difficulties and obstacles in carrying out our task, we still manage to get our job done since each and every member give their full effort to make things work.

First thing come into my mind when i first stepped into our side is dirty, messy, stuff and stocks placed everywhere. i started to worry, i was thinking how are we going to start the work under this kind of environment. We didn't give up but we discuss and get our problem solve, the second day we started to get into serious mode, with wearing plastic glove and mask we started to do our measuring. I felt the feeling of satisfaction from getting done my job under this not so good environment.
