2nd Grade:

Circling--Math--are we giving equal amounts of time for reading and math within our day. How is testing mid-year affecting our math scores due to not reaching geometry units? How can we build in time to reteach skills?

Reading--How do we find time to review or teach skills outside of grade level content? Fluency is a challenge, how do we build and encourage stamina and confidence?

Square: Math--kids that get it are growing--talking and discussing is a good way to continue to help them grow. We need to make sure that we are intentionally adding geometry, money, time into the whole year. Reading--Fluency is a struggle for our kiddos, but the phonics/pa is super strong.

Pointy: Math--not having an interventionist. Reading--not having stamina for reading, and going back into the text because there isn't enough independent reading opportunities within CKLA
