How were marginalized groups of Americans included in home front war efforts? How did marginalized groups either gain new freedoms
or become further marginalized during World War II?

This propaganda demonstrates how home front war efforts required calling upon diverse populations to contribute to win the war. The Bracero Program relied upon Latino laborers to help the US during wartime. This poster might even suggest a broader definition of victory like the Double V campaign, which called upon the US to achieve a victory abroad and a victory at home by addressing civil rights issues on the home front. However, prejudice toward Latinos as evidenced by events such as the Zoot Suit Riots shows further marginalization occurring as a result of the war.
