Then, she could not only support herself but possibly support the family as well. Her quality of life may also be better or she may be more happy overall.
School drawbacks: Having her gone would mean that there would be less workers on the farm. School may cost money and even if we did send her, how good would the school be? She may even flunk out.
Work benefits: Having her on the farm would provide us with another worker which would make life easier for the family. We don't have to pay as much and transportation wouldn't be an issue. She may not be getting an academic education but she is learning how to work.
Work drawbacks: If she isn't going to school then I doubt anyone else will. Nobody will be able to get a rich education which means we'll probably be stuck on the farm or other jobs like this.

Our family chose to send her to work on the family farm. It's cheaper overall and that eliminates the stress of her flunking out or failing to get a better job.
