         <description><![CDATA[<p>King:</p><p>The monarch, at the apex of the feudal system, held ultimate authority. </p><p>Nobility/Lords:</p><p>Controlled land and resources, often in exchange for military service to the king. </p><p>Knights:</p><p>Military personnel who served their lords or the king in exchange for land or other privileges. </p><p>Clergy:</p><p>Religious leaders, including priests, bishops, and monks, who played an important role in spiritual guidance and sometimes held land and political influence. </p><p>Peasants/Villeins:</p><p>The vast majority of the population, primarily engaged in farming and agricultural work, often bound to the land. </p><p>Freemen:</p><p>Peasants who were allowed more mobility and had some greater rights than villeins. </p><p>Townspeople:</p><p>In towns and cities, merchants, artisans, and craftspeople played an important role in trade and commerce. </p><p>Merchants:</p><p>Traded goods, contributing to economic activity in towns and cities. </p><p>Doctors:</p><p>Provided medical care, a valuable skill in a time with limited medical knowledge.</p>]]></description>
