(3 years old) was sitting in the block centre. He grabbed the bin off the shelf with two hands and dumped all the cubed blocks on the floor. L. began to stack the blocks in a house. He continued to stack his blocks until his house fell over. Then, he picked up the blocks and started to stack them again. He started to arrange a long line in front of the house, I asked him “L, what is the long line?”. He told me “That the hallway and you can walk on it”. Then, he counted how many blocks he had built. He counted “One, two, three, four, five, six! 6 blocks!”. He looked and smiled at me and tried to build the tower again. After that, he ran over to go call his friends to come to see what he had built. 
 
L. seems like he enjoys hands on activities a lot. He was able to count and create a structure with the blocks. He was able to multitask and think about what he was doing as well. I encouraged him to build the tower again rather than getting upset that he made a mess. 

Children can learn to develop his problem-solving and decision-making skills during playing blocks

I have learned many meaningful experiences that assist children to develop their learning in many aspects. I also got more chances to engage with children to support their learning through daily activities more than ever.
