In the Ted talk it was a more relaxed atmosphere and the  story of how he brought water to his people actually seemed real. Rather than in the biography where you were just getting told a story and here wasn't any life to it.

I liked Williams TED Talk more because he gave his own word in it. It wasn't just his story. He gave people inspiration and perseverance to go after your dreams. As well as it was just simple, and not over the top.

William's TED talk differs from the biography because it has his point of view. He can describe it in his own words, with his own experience. He can describe his thoughts and feelings throughout the challenge. He can describe many things based on just him himself!

I prefer the TED talk over the biography. Yes, the biography might have a lot of information, but it would probably be boring and not understandable to some people. The talk has more detail because it is William talking himself. Rather than William speaking from his experience, explaining other things. The books and biography don't know his thoughts.

A lesson that could be learned from this is, despite where you came from, or how poor you are, or maybe even rich or average, you can help many others by the simple or hard. Yes, changing the world, your life, and helping many people could be hard, but it will take you through a route where you are glad you never gave up, and you're glad you gave it your all. When you realize how far you have come, you will realize you are more than just a poor boy, more than just the president's daughter, more than how you look at yourself. A lesson that can be learned from William Kamkwamba's expierence is that it is much easier to help others if you are maybe as fortunate or less fortunate because you know their situation and you can relate to them. When you are more fortunate than someone else it feels harder to help others because you just want to like spend your money and/or time on yourself and making your life more luxurios. Williams TED talk differs because the TED talk the words were coming straight from his mouth. From his own perspective his own point of view. It is also for his own experience he describe how he felt that day and what was going though his mind that day.

I prefer the TED talk over the biography, yes the biography did have much information, but the TED talk had more. In the TED talk he could describe how he felt that day, and why HE wanted to build the windmill. It also gives you a bit more background information then the biography because it is from his point of view.

The lesson learned to me is that no matter what situation your in have perseverance. William’s town was not in the greatest condition, and he didn’t have education. They barely made it by with only one meal a day. Then he found a way to make this possible even with out having all the education other kids may be getting. He went on his own to the library to find a way to fix his towns problem. Then with perseverance he made it, and to this day he is know for his work and what he did to make this world a better place.
