I am not sure how to integrate CS for my students but agree that it's important. We have iPads? We have increasingly lost access to computers as a result. I think they are becoming very familiar with the user end of the experience but not necessarily the creation end.

First, students benefit from a better understanding of the technology they use and recognizing the basic structure of programs and at least at a basic level the hardware they utilize will help them better navigate them in their daily use. Secondly, computer science is inherently organized and structured. Teaching students the skill of logical reasoning will assist them in their ability to work on large projects or just those projects that seem large at the time by learning to break large projects into smaller "chunks."
