Kayseri is the city in the center of Anatolia in Turkey. It has been one of the most important trade centre over the history. Nowadays you can feel here a modern, busy city but also a strong traditional and religious atmosphere.

Kayseri is renowned for its culinary specialties such as mantı, pastırma and sucuk.

The view is really glamorous, with the mountains of Erciyes Mountain and Kara Mountain in the background, a snow-capped volcano and green fields, and the nearby Sultansazlığı bird sanctuary.

The city is also very well known because of textile and carpet industry. Kayseri, this city is also the home town of the famous architect Mimar Sinan.
