         <description><![CDATA[<div>Main idea: The main idea is to survive at Mars<br><br>Arguments/facts:&nbsp;<br><br>If we develop new techniques to survive, the planet earth will have more supplies in order to avoid extinction.<br><br>Surviving at other planets could be a good way to get used to be at the space or out of the planet Earth.<br><br></div><div>Dialogue:<br><br>How are they going to produce their food?<br>Will someone send rockets to obtain supplies?</div><div><br>Summary:<br><br>To be able to colonise mars, humans should develop new techniques to produce food or new plants. To grow something on that planet would mean facing a much lower gravity than that of our planet, with one third of the Earth's gravitational effect. Both pros and cons are shown with ethical and scientific arguments.<br><br>Arguments/facts:<br>- Humans have a right and a moral duty to save our species from suffering and extinction. Colonizing space is one method of doing so.<br>- Space colonization is the next logical step in space exploration and human growth.<br>- Technological advancement into space can exist alongside conservation efforts on Earth.<br>- Humans living in space is impossible, as there are no planets with similar enough conditions to Earth.<br>- Humans have made a mess of Earth. We should clean it up instead of destroying a moon or another planet.<br>- Space is inhospitable to humans and life in space, if even possible, would be miserable.<br><br>Dialogue:<br>Do we really want to live if it has to be in such miserable conditions as we can find in space?<br>Should we really prioritize our survival if this implies having to go outside our planet?<br><br>Summary:&nbsp;<br>The article presents lots of problems and conflicts for space colonization, giving again the feeling that it is not correct or possible.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Main idea: <br>General information is given. More of an explanation rather than an ethical analysis. Scientifical arguments are mainly given, with viability very taken into account.<br><br>Arguments/facts:<br>- Communication will be very difficult due to very long distances which even light and radiocommunication waves spend high time travelling through.<br>- Radiation will be a great challenge, as enormous protection is needed.<br>- No life will be possible outside the very controlled space of the colony (going for a walk outside, for example, if no atmosphere or extreme temperatures are presented)<br>- There would be a space problem, if no huge amounts of resources want to be spent.<br><br>Dialogue:<br>Will the colonies get isolated from normal life in Earth (or other colonies)<br><br>Summary:<br>Life in outer space proves again to be a giant challenge. Problems like <strong>communication</strong>, <strong>radiation</strong>, <strong>extreme condition</strong>s and <strong>space</strong> appear.
