The title can be used to communicate the genre and themes within the film through typography, colours and positioning of the text.
> Tagline
The tagline of the film is a short phrase which gives a small idea of what is happening in the film. It is usually vague which causes the audience tone more interested.
> Release date
The release date is used to inform the audience of when the film will be coming out. This will create a sense of excitement and anticipation in the audience and also create a sense of urgency to watch the movie.
> List of main cast members
This is a list of the actors within the film and is used to inform the audience of who acted in the movie. This is used to attract audiences who may be fans of the actors or enjoyed their previous work.
> Director
The director's name is sometimes given to draw in audiences, if the director is well-known and has created successful movies in the past, audiences are more likely to watch the film as quality has been assured. Fans of the director's past films will be interested to watch the film.
> Production Companies
Production companies are included on the poster to inform the audience of who produced the film. People will associate the company with other films and they enjoyed it, will be likely to watch the new film too.
> Rating/review
Ratings are sometimes placed on a film poster to promote the film's quality and ensure that the film is worth watching. It encourages the audience to watch the film, especially if it comes from a reliable source. This may be done in the form of stars or quotes.
> Billing Block
