Our school during the dictatorship was the center of resistance! it was the first University of Patras. Our schoolyard is small, but is so full of joy!! There is a basketball and volleyball court.

Our schoolyard isn't large. The building faces the street, so there is not so much space to walk around.

Our school hasn't got a schoolyard unfortunately, but the street in front of the entrance is our space for events or our theatre or gymroom.

I LO im. Kazimierza Jagiellończyka w Sieradzu - it is upper secondary school in the centre of Poland. We don't have courts only car park and small area for walking. There are behind the school.

Our school exist since 1776. Old building dates from that period. And it's still in use. Older children have lessons there. Newer building is from middle of last century. It's for small pupils. We have big yard, football and basketball terain, trafic poligone, classroom under the trees, sand hole for jumping and lot of grass. Realy lot of grass and trees

We are a secondary school in a rural area not far from Bremen in the north of Germany. Our school yard is really nice: some trees, a few benches, pupils have the possibility to play table tennis, basketball, and - what else to expect from Germany ;) - soccer. When it rains heavily, pupils stay inside the building, in the ground floor, 10th graders are free to choose where they want to spend the breaks, they may also stay in their classrooms - if they behave ;). Not allowed: to leave the school grounds.

In the outer space of my school there are three playgrounds, all of them uncovered, and a concierge. In one of the outdoor spaces there is a playground with equipment for climbing and sliding. The space around the school is fenced (wall and iron bars) and access to the building is made by three gates, two of them with access for the disabled. The third gate allows access to the space where 2nd and 3rd cycles work, favoring joint activities and curricular articulation.
