1. What is mass? In physics, mass is a property of a physical body. It is generally a measure of an object's resistance to changing its state of motion when a force is applied.2. What is weight? a heavy object, especially one being lifted or carried 3. What will happen to your mass on the moon? it will be less on the moon 4. What will happen to your weight on the moon? your body will be floating because it has less gravity 5. If you diet and excercise, which one will decrease, your mass or your weight? both

)We use the word mass to talk about how much matter there is in something. (Matter is anything you can touch physically.) On Earth
)the force that gravitation exerts upon a body, equal to themass of the body times the local acceleration of gravity.
)Your weight gets less because the Moon is smaller than the Earth and therefore gravity on the moon.
)weight would go down because the moon has a lower gravitational pull. Your mass stays the same. Mass is how much matter in your body.
)Weight loss is simplistic in theory. If you reduce more calories than you normally burn, by either reducing your food intake or increasing your exercise, you will lose weight.
