According to evidence card B, there are more cows ( which likely use more cellular respiration that most forest animals) than the population for forest animals in any time period in the graph. Evidence card D also supports my answer because, decomposers are now using more cellular respiration due to the excess wood. Therefore I believe that the carbon in the area has risen due to a increase in cellular respiration.</div>]]></description>

Also, decomposers help produce cellular respiration. Evidence card D also supports my claim because it shows that there was some trees left over and decomposers used that to decompose and help produce cellular respiration. Which the products of cellular respiration is carbon dioxide. (Carbon dioxide gets release into the air).  This shows that claim 2 is correct. PERIOOODTTTTT</div>]]></description>

According to evidence card D, it shows how to wood was left for the decomposers to do cellular respiration but less trees means less photosynthesis meaning that they aren't using carbon dioxide to do photosynthesis but if it is just because of cellular respiration photosynthesis is still happening and takes the carbon dioxide that cellular respiration produces so I think claim #1 is correct.</div>]]></description>

If photosynthesis isn't happening, then carbon dioxide would increase since it isn't being used up. This shows that carbon dioxide is increasing because photosynthesis is only done by producers and trees do the most for photosynthesis. To add on to that evidence card C says that trees produce a lot more energy storage molecules than grass, and that means that trees do a lot more photosynthesis.          <description><![CDATA[<div>claim 1 is correct because this claim has the facts to back it up. And it's more of a reasonable claim than the other option. Why do I say this? There is more evidence on how claim 1 is correct, and it shows that by giving us a picture of when the trees died, sure the grass replaced them, but trees are more efficient at photosynthesis and cellular respiration. With many of the trees gone, the balance that was there is now gone, and the levels of c02 will increase because the population of the producers as a whole, has now decreased, and the producers are going to have a hard time trying to keep using that c02 for photosynthesis since there are less producers.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
