I understood that this article is about the tools used for exploration in the early days.

It's connected to all the articles we read because in the before articles it said that, they use to go hear and there and then lastly explore, but to explore they need the tools like:

What I understood was that early explorers did not have any things like phones, pads, and laptops to see where they would want to go. But they did have other tools like a compass. Compass is a very simple device it is just a simple magnet. most explorers in those days stayed close to land and looked for familiar landmarks. My connection: I connected like in one of the articles I was reading the Europeans were looking for a great explorer to travel to get some spices and this article was talking about spices.
