The night of Ivan Kupala is considered magical. Only on the youth's bathing night was allowed to be naughty, flirt with each other, kissing, hugging, and so on... After Ivan Kupala's night the guy had to marry the girl with whom he was flirting.

According to the legend, on that night there was the wedding of Kupala and Marena and it symbolized the union of the male and female principles, and two elements: Kupala as the embodiment of Fire, Marena as the embodiment of Water.

My favorite holiday is the New Year. It is celebrated on the night from December 31 to January 1. We put a lot of delicious dishes on the table. We sit at the table as a family, eat a lot and talk, laugh and joke. I really like to decorate the Christmas tree with different balls and lights. I am very happy with the Christmas tree and the presents under it.
