<title>The type of teacher I will be is a teacher that has no fear with technology, in fact uses technology to increase stimulus in the classroom. I strive to be a teacher that is constantly collaborating with other like minded teachers to develop lessons that are engaging to all students no matter their learning style. I endeavour to be the type of teacher who will not only be teaching her students life long learner but will always be learning off her students as well.</title>

I want to utilise technology in meaningful and creative ways to enhance the minds of the<strong> </strong>21st century, neo-millennial learners. <title>Twenty-first century teaching requires a continued commitment to professional learning so as to ensure that we are actively engaging with all the potentials in the classroom. As a teacher, I will value the individuality of each student, listening to their thoughts and interests so as to create a dynamic and engaging classroom. I recognise the power that technology can have in engaging a wide array of learning styles, and aim to incorporate it effectively in my classroom.</title>

<title>The 21st century teacher that I strive to be is a teacher who looks for avenues through which I can incorporate technology into teaching and learning processes. Through real-life and classroom experiences, I have come to understand that the 21st century student’s life revolves around technology. Thus, I will try my best to find the best ways to incorporate technology into classroom teaching. Moreover, I believe that my practice as a teacher should be shaped by my understandings of humanity. In particular, I understand that although it is my hope and desire to have all my students achieve the best possible outcomes, the attainment of identified outcomes may be influenced by students’ experiences outside the classroom.</title>

<title>I would strive to become a builder of the whole student, an influencer, able to establish a fun, technological and energetic classroom. I would like to incorporate influences from the hands on theorist, John Dewey. Focusing on the pupil being the “starting point”, “center” and “end” in education. Also, implementing the views of relational development being at the center of all learning. Relationships correlate greater student outcomes and are important to establish, so students have an idea of you as the teacher and what you expect from them. I would also integrate social approaches, rather than direct. However, it is imperative as a twenty first century teacher to try and find a balance between the two. Furthermore, I should reflect an awareness of self and other, because to truly understand self, you must metaphorically step into the shoes of another. I hope this approach helps me meet curriuculum needs and encourages the next generation to carry themselves successfully. </title>
