A huge thank you to all the parents and carers who came along to support us throughout both the morning and afternoon sessions. We were delighted to see such an amazing turnout and the encouragement from the sidelines made the day even more special for our children.

We were also very lucky with the weather, which thankfully held off and allowed all the events to go ahead as planned.

A special mention must go to our wonderful prefects and children in Year 3, who helped throughout the day and ensured everything ran smoothly.

There were plenty of memorable moments, including the ever-popular mums and dads race! The teachers' race was equally entertaining, with lots of competitive spirit on display.

Most importantly, the day was filled with teamwork, perseverance and fun. It was especially meaningful for our Year 6 pupils, as this was their final Sports Day at our school. We hope they will look back on the day fondly and cherish the wonderful memories made with friends, staff and families.

Thank you once again to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success.

Our key Bible verse for this half term is: “Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9 

What an amazing week we have had at school!

It has certainly been one of our busiest weeks of the year, filled with opportunities, achievements and memorable moments for our children.

On Wednesday, we enjoyed a fantastic Sports Day, where children demonstrated great determination, teamwork and sportsmanship. It was wonderful to see so many families supporting the children and helping to create such a positive atmosphere.

Thursday was equally busy, with our Year 6 children taking part in writing moderation activities, showcasing the high standards of work they have achieved throughout their time at school. We are incredibly proud of their efforts and the progress they have made.

Later that evening, some of our Year 6 children celebrated their Confirmation in church. It was a special and meaningful occasion and we were delighted to see them take this important step in their faith journey. Our thanks go to the parish team, families and staff who supported the children throughout their preparation.

I would also like to congratulate all of our children and families on their excellent attendance this week. We were particularly impressed to see such fantastic attendance following England's game on Wednesday evening. The World Cup Breakfast was a roaring success! This reflects the commitment and dedication of our school community and ensures that children continue to make the most of every learning opportunity.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to making this such a successful and memorable week.
