Individual: a single human being as distinct from a group, class, or family.

My definition, a single person, that is different from everybody else, thinks differently and acts differently. 

Societies: the aggregate of people living together in a more or less ordered community.

In this class, the subject matter is about people and their interaction with their culture or community. We will learn about the systems and process that these communities undergo, in present times and the past. By the end of the year, I will have learnt about various cultures around the world.

3b. I think by the end of this year, I am would have learnt about history and groups of people that impacted the world. 

a) I believe that we are going to discuss and learn about history, economy, geography, and different cultures and traditions and how these topics affected many individuals and the society.

b) I think that I would have learned information about history, different countries and their cultures, economy and politics, and much more.

Societies: An organised group of persons associated together for religious, benevolent, cultural, scientific, political, patriotic, or other purposes.

My own definition: Individuals are singular figures who are distinguished from a group and usually have ideas against the orthodoxy ideas of a certain time. In contrast, societies are the surroundings of people described using their identity, the religious, cultural, and political aspects.

1. In this course, we are to learn about humanity and how it functions with the interaction with the environment. In the process, we are to learn about different cultures, traditions, systems, societal ideas, historical events and movements. Smaller subjects such as economy, politics, religion, etc. will also be learnt and explained. We will learn about ideas and reactions to certain situations and examples of how individuals have changed their society. The modern society will also be another example in order to learn how these ideas have been incorporated in today's time. Furthermore, we will learn about the systematic functions the communities undergo in order for their survival and how that has evolved to modern concepts.

2. At the end of the year, I believe that I would have learnt about certain historical events, movements and investigate about how those events function in a systematic way. We will also learn about the humans that have taken the initiative to create changes in society. It will be learnt through the modern world and historical occurrences. I may be able to infer some ideas about humanity in addition to what has been written above.

-A society is a group of people in a large social group sharing the same features of the Earth, populations, resources, and land uses.

-An individual is a single human being that is separate from a certain group. 

I think in the "Individuals & Societies" Course we will be learning about different groups and how they are affected from their geographical features. We might be also learning about how different societies and groups affect other groups. We will probably be learning about different individuals and how they are affected.

From this course I would have learned most of the information covered in this course which will be:Korean History, Communist movement, Economics and Environment.

At the end of this year, we might learn deeply about history, traditions, religion, politics and more. Also, I think we will learn about it's impact and function.
