Hello Gertrude. I hear that you feel the pain and anger because you remember the death of your daughter, Helen. I sympathize with your pain in losing your daughter in an accident. It must be difficult, especially with so many other responsibilities in the church.

You terribly miss your daughter and you feel devastated. You are questioning God why all these have to happen. Because of what happened, you feel God is so cruel to you.

How have you been reacting or responding to God's cruelty to you? Is God really cruel? How do you want me to help you? What is hindering you from moving on and recovering from what happened 10 years ago?

How does this painful situation affect your relationship with God? Are you able to pray? What happens when you pray? What image of God do you see in your prayer? 

Have you considered seeing a grief counsellor first before we proceed with spiritual direction?

It seems to me that your anger keeps coming back while helping others.
