During the SPENT activity, I learned that when struggling with income, there are a lot of moral dilemmas you must face with family and the income you need to support that family. Some take for granted how difficult it is to raise a child when having limited income.

Playing the spent game reinforced the idea that just because people might be in the same circumstance (for example poverty) does not mean that they experienced the same things to get to that point. Everyone has a different journey and different privileges or disadvantages.

I found the Playsent game insightful since it did a good job of illustrating the stressfulness and hard decisions associated with being impoverished. I learned how detrimental even a debt of 5 dollars can be when you are riding paycheck to paycheck.

Also, I think that the Harvard test kind of sucks as a way to test implicit bias, since it can create bias caused by your muscle memory from playing previous iterations of the test.
