You have been selected to join our crew for a Mission to Mars! NASA has tasked us with collecting a soil sample from the red planet. This is an exciting but dangerous journey! Working as a team, we will design a rover to collect specimens from Masrs. Along the way, we will need to use our science and engineering skills to solve problems. Are you ready?"<br>Explain what the challenge is and how it will be accomplished. Teacher can display all the supplies that will be used to build excitement and interest in the challenge. STUDENTS WILL NOT START BUILDING on the first day. <br>Challenge can be modified to differeniate for your students, you may add or remove requirements in the challenge to meet your students' needs. <br>See attached Discovery Ed Lesson plan.<br><strong>NOTE: This lesson plan only has the students creating a sketch of their rover.
