I do agree that most of the rules were followed except for rule 18 being broken when the death turned out to be suicide. I also agree that Miss Plenderleith was suspicious in the story, especially in the film version. I would also like to mention an image that stuck out to me which was the amount of detail that the author went into describing the room in which Mrs. Allen was found.
