Idependent learning is becoming increasingly popular and often involves self-study. Self - study allows learners without help from teacher or mentor. However, self study has its advantages and disadvantages.

This is extremely important and helps you form creativity in learning and absorbing knowledge around you. In addition, self-study helps you actively acquire knowledge, it helps you know how to supplement your own shortcomings to improve yourself. At the same time, self-study helps you have independent thinking and not depend on others, always proactive and confident in life. More over, self-study helps you be flexible in your study time, dividing your study time to suit you. You are not dependent on a certain class time, making you more comfortable with studying, at the same time consistent with your daily routine, ensuring good health.

On the other hand, learners may struggle to learn things on their own and may need more time to understand concepts without the guidance of a teacher. In addition, learners may not develop certain life skills such as: good communication and relationship skills.
