Yesterday, I went to the market with my friend and I had a memorable experience. When I was waiting [for] my friend in the  a handmade shop. I was stolen my wallet and cellphone. [my wallet and cellphone were stolen]. Then I tried to find them everywhere but I didn't [couldn't]. In my wallet had important papers. I cried and panicked. After that I tried to regain myself possession and I went to the local police [station]. After 4 hours, they caught [the] thief . I felt very happy when I saw my wallet and cellphone. It's a memorable experience. That I never forgot . I  should be more carefully when I went out.

Thanks for your letter. I’m so glad to hear from you. You asked me about computer games. What an interesting topic! But I have to say this, [that] I don’t really like playing computer games. Although I have default games in my computer, I seldom play it. Maybe it’s fantastic with you but I prefer listening to music instead of playing games. 

As you know, my computer is old, so I have just bought a new laptop. It has white colour, a slim and elegant design. I created my own site to write as soon as I used it. Besides that, I like surfing the Internet to look for information or funny stories. There are so much things from this global net. I also use my laptop to read novels or listen to music. Because e-books and digital songs are much more cheaper than real books or real CDs. Thanks to the new laptop and the Internet, I can improve the effectiveness of my learning. I can study without leaving home or get accustomed to some kinds of software like Words, PowerPoint, Photoshop... that can help me with lessons.

After the rain, the rocks were slippery. As we were climbing up, I suddenly slipped and fell off the cliff. My back was broken, my head became dizzy and I started to pass out.

The following morning, I woke up in a hospital realizing I had a badly injured back. My friends told me that after I had fallen off, they quickly climbed back down to help and called an ambulance to take me to the hospital. It took me nearly six months to recover from that broken back completely and finally I could walk around without any pain. It was such a dangerous situation but luckily I got out of it.

I’ve received your letter. It was great to hear from you. Well, from what you wrote, it seems that we do have a lot in common. We both think that computer games are fantastic.Since I was a kid, I’ve always enjoyed playing computer games because it brings me to the state of happy mind and lets me clear my mind after work.

Recently, the schoolwork has been getting harder so I decided that I should spend more time learning on my computer than playing games. That being said, I’ve just bought an Oxford dictionary on CD-ROM. My computer is quite old and outdated so it runs very slowly and crashes very often, which is annoying me badly. I’m saving up to get a new one next year. At present, my computer is mainly used for learning English and listening to music. I sometimes get online to search for useful learning materials and downloading music. I’ve sent some learning materials to your email address. Write back soon if you’ve received them.

Thanks for your letter. It was great to hear from you. You asked me about computer games. I think it is fantastic.  But I don't like playing computer games. Although there have some games,  i play it very rarely. In fact, playing computer games can help you clear your mind after school but it waste of time. I should  spend more time learning on my computer instead of playing game. 

My computer is quite old so it runs slowly . My father have bought a new laptop. It' s wonderful! My new laptop have black color and modern design . I use it for doing other things.  I prefer surfing the internet to read news online , find website about music, drama and things like that. Sometimes I also like download music because it is cheaper than buying CDs in the shop. I often study EL online, it help me improve the effectiveness of my learning. Moreover, I can buy clothes and everything without go out and send this letter for you.  I was returning home in my father’s car. It was raining heavily and the road therefore could not be seen clearly. My father was driving slowly to avoid an accident. Suddenly, a small car ran at great speed overtaking us. My father and I were shocked at the recklessness of the driver of that car. I saw four people in the car, including two children. When on a narrow bridge, the driver of the small car lost control and plugged into the river. When we arrived at the bridge touched deeply by what we saw. Two children were struggling in the river. My father jumped into the river to save them. Then, he took them to the hospital.

 It was really a dangerous situation which I never forget.

 After school, I was home alone and suddenly thought about cooking something, I opened the refrigerator and took some scallions, some eggs and peppers to make a “Lovely omelet” dish. I opened the gas valve and stood on a stool and realized my passion. Unfortunately, my dish was burning due to high temperature, which made me so disappointed. I went to bed within locking gas valve. About haft an hour later, my parents came back home and noticed that gas was spreading everywhere, they quickly took me out then shut the valve and opened all the doors in the house for leaking gas out.

 It was not until the next morning that I heard everything from my mom, she said “What a clumsy girl! You was coming close to death at that moment! ” that made me cried loudly. After that, people could not see me in the kitchen anymore. It was a dangerous situation in my life!  

I have just received your letter this morning . It was great to hear from you . You asked me about computer games . Well , I’m not really fond of playing computer games, so I seldom play them. Though they’re very fantastic and entertaining, but I don’t feel attracted by them at all.

I prefer using my computer for doing other things. I like surfing the Internet, reading news about the celebrities, polictics all over the world. In addition, I often use my computer to find more materials for my study. 

You know what ? My parents have just given me a player on my birthday . You know how much I enjoy listening to music. I listen to music all the times. My life would be so boring without music.

One day, the lights went out and I was home alone. So I was the one to take the responsibility of cooking. The lights went out so I couldn’t use the induction cooker, I must use the gas oven instead. 

After cooking I didn’t know that I had to lock the gas’s valve. And in just 15 minutes the house was filled with the propane. I almost couldn’t breath and was very scared. I really didn’t know what to do.

Fortunately, my kind neighbor smelt the propane too. He hurriedly locked the gas’s valve for me. I couldn’t tell how thankful I was.

Anyway it’s still an unforgettable memory. I still feel terrified by now. I almost put my house on fire had it not been for my neighbor. I will never be so stupid like that again.

Thanks for your letter. It was great to know that you bought a new computer game. You asked me about this. Well, I think it is relaxing. I usually play computer games in my free time.

I use my computer for both study and entertainment. Finding learning websites via the Internet, I get useful methods to study. I can check my levels and skills with computer. It makes me able to listen to music, watch films, read books without cost. I also download something from the Internet and store in my computer.

Second, if you want to go on all over the world for studying, travelling .v.v. But you don't have enough knowledge about foreign language. You'll waste much time doing it. It's not easy!

Today, I want to consult with you about the question: There are lots of people on Earth, so why haven’t we built cities under the ocean? For me, there are 2 reasons to answer this question

Firstly, land under the ocean is not hard enough to build cities under the ocean. It will collapse whenever the ocean changes

Finally, building cities under the ocean is very dangerous. If tsunami occurs, people will be died

So Earth ground is a place that very safe for people to live. We don’t need to move to another place.

 It's not easy . Under huge pressure it is like you put 50 of the airplanes in your chest .We'll definitely be torn apart without supporting science and technology.

Secondly, to make up 1 city under the sea, we need huge funding, with tens of billions of dollars on  funding, people, time, natural resources, etc. The cost is not small. this project will be national or international level. It could be that Japan, the United States or luxury dubai or other country.

Finally, the ocean is home of many species .  The scientists can estimate about 25 million marine species live in the ocean, but the sea creatures was discovered less than 1%. Environmental scientists need appropriate answer for this. Can a city under the oceans ensure not affect marine ecosystems and not affects the environment of tens of millions of marine species ???? And until now this question is still one problem.

In all, the most important thing is still the science and technology level of our, but now can not be that is not mean that is the future can not be. The problem will for a lot of people, if you want to build one city under the oceans. we had the idea of one city under the ocean, that is  very crazy and amazing but with the ambition of humans, it is not far anymore.

Today I want to share with you about my english learning. The following lines is not my  secret or something esle, it's just my way  , my status and my understanding about  English.
Actually ,my english is not good , it's a shame that  is a person who is studying  in the travel department. I did not realize how important English for me until I started college, my classmate have English, they have confidence. If I don’t have English,  I will not do anything, so I have to learn English.I read quite a lot about the people who succeeded in english conquering. I realize that my previous way is so wrong. We should learn as a child , including four skills: listening – speaking - reading- writing.

Listen, listen, listen, listen as much as possible, listen until it is imprinted in your memory, pronunciation and grammar will be remember naturally. The most important thing is listen . There are many sources such as the BBC, CNN, and National Geographic, you can like these pages on your facebook, it have a lot of  interesting videos.

Speak, speak  reflexively. To this good practice, you should speak with foreigners, you can attend the forum to be able to tell the people around the world, I've attended , that is so interesting and useful.

Reading, reading as much as possible  to write well, because if your listening is good ,you will say well, if you read well ,your writing will be good.

Write, you should write from the little things in your life, it can be a to do list or your diary , or you can shoot the breeze with your friend . it's so funny.

I also feel  vocabulary that is important , vocabulary should be learn in groups.  It’s not easy , because we got used to the traditional way of learning. I don't like to study grammar and i think we shouldn't study grammar more. If you want to speak english fluently, you shouldn't learn grammar. It's good for writing . 

Actions speak louder than words. just when you begin do that means you are learning english, english really is yours when you use it, dominate it ,and it is your tool. you can communicate more people, can know many cultures, can read the great books or, can watch a lot of famour action or comedy films. Truly, the important thing of English learning  as well as anything is perseverance and really want  to do . I've ever heard the saying "if you want it , you will find a way , if not you will find a excuse ". So you should consider  your English learning, you are looking for a way  or a excuse???

Nowadays, scientists have invented to help our life better and better. Globalize can help people with connect together. However, there are about 7000 different languages on Earth. So, why haven't we invented one language for everyone?

  I think that using general language is useful because it is:

  - reduce suspicion and hatred between nations.
  - understand and more and more sympathy.
  - free and comfortable communication.
  - travel many places all over the world.
  - have the opportunity to learn and work.
  - expand relationships with people.
  - connect cultural traditions to not have barriers between countries.

   To sum up, I think we should have general language for a good future.

     There are many different characters and different personalities within themselves and all help build up the story of the film. It is also an elegant work of art that balances comedy, action and emotion.

     Through out the film, it brings to the audience many different emotions from funny to somber. Generally,the series of Kungfu panda is trying create a stereotype of a hero figure trying to fight against the darkness. Perhaps it is trying to send out the message to people especially young children about what is right and justice and they must be preserved by the real heroes. And by that, the series somewhat contributes in building a better generation and a better society.

       However, Kungfu panda 3 has it’s own plot. It is about self-discover of the main character is a panda named Po. The whole film is a journey of Po in finding the answers of the questions “Who am I?” and “What would it be to be a real panda .

     Over all, in my opinion, Kungfu panda 3 is an excellent, well-done job of the design team of the film, and it deserved to be awarded. Hopefully, in the nearest future, the producer would bring us to a brand new journey of Po and Dragon Warriors in a new episode of the series Kungfu Panda.

In my opinion, it is difficulty to everyone speak one language because they don’t live in a countries .If everyone speaks a language , that would be very boring. Different languages will make up the cultural diversity . we will see more interesting to speak the language of others.

Language is characteristic of each country. The language of that country will become a "tool" needed to attract the trade and receptive to learn with the people here. 

So,I think different countries should have different languages.

There are lots of people on Earth, so why haven’t we built cities under the ocean. Today, there are a handful of companies building underwater resorts. From the Poseidon Undersea Resort in Fiji to the Discus Hotel planned in Dubai, developers are well aware that some people find the allure of living underwater hard to resist. On the other hand, the biggest challenge early divers and engineers faced in building and living inside these structures was understanding the effect of breathing pressurised gas for long periods of time. Underwater habitats are still very cramped and the environment is harsh. Moreover, nothing can be heated with a flame. Maybe I'm wrong, but it looks like we have the technology to do it today. To sum up, with overpopulation plaguing the world, expanding into the ocean seemed easier than trying to build a colony on Mars or on the Moon.

-You can rent a motorbike to move around and explore Hue tourism.

-You have to know pay the price
-You don't have to bring too many clothes, you can buy clothes in Hue to give as gifts because it is beautiful and relatively cheap.
-You can not discover Hue in a day because there are so many exciting destinations. So let's travel to Hue for 3-4 days.

       Firstly, this kind of work has been done by Ludwik L. Zamenhof- a Poland professor in the 19th century and that language is called Esperanto. Esperanto has been aimed at becoming the world's only language for convenience's sake. Esperanto is easy to learn, according to those who have used it, and does bring good opportunity for people to communicate among countries. Still, mother language is something that cannot be replaced in day one or two. And most people are not willing to sacrifice their own culture and language. Therefore, There is only 2 million people using Esperanto after 100 years of invented.

     Secondly, English has been considered international language for the past few years. It has been the most popular language for trading, business and traveling.    

       And that is all the more reason for us to believe sooner or later, English will be our universal language.

  Are you ok? I and family (My family and I) are very well. Tkank you for your letter last week, which you asked me about computer games and my activities on (it) [my computer].

  Well, my computer is very confident [useful/ versatile/ convenient...] It contains many applications. I can connect with  [to the] (connect to # connect with) internet (I can get access to the Internet) ,write [type] text, design art, play video games and etc.  It is very fantastic and helpful to me for studying and entertainments. 

 Although ,  there are many interesting  computer games, I don’t like playing them. Firstly  , it is costly and time consuming. I won’t have time for another (others/ other activities?).

It was on a weekend. Because of the hot weather, I was a bit lazy. But I love reading so I decided to visit the book fair in order to buy some. While I was reading, “You are the apple of my eye”, she said: “I like this book, too”. And I was nearly jumped out of my skin because she stood behind me. Then we got a place to sit and talk about our taste of reading (good) . She turned out to be (good) my school-mate. I found that we have so many things in common. I like the feeling when I touch books and smell a familiar scent of printed papers. She doesn’t like e-books because they’re not real. After that day, we have became friends. We met each other at school, through outdoor activities or book fairs... Since we weren’t study in the same class, I just saw her during the break. She sometimes comes to my house and vice versa (good). Getting to know her for a long time, I feel like I have found my soulmate. We are not only bookaholic, but also Virgos. 

As time goes by, we grow up. I can meet her easier and we still have lots of things to talk after all these years. Now, we are far away from each other. I study in Danang while she is in Ho Chi Minh city. But we try staying in touch through the Internet. We have shared many things in life, both happy and sad moments.

Then I wake up again due to not hearing any sound of my alarm. Incredible! It had gone off for long. I went to school in a hurry. There was still 5 minutes left before the test began. It was too difficult to finish in time but I managed to do all. However, I had no breakfast so I was faint before handing [in] my paper…

It was said that I was taken to hospital then. Now I never make may day without breakfast.

Then, she helped me stand up and first aid for my wounds. When I calmed down, I said : " Thank you very much". And she said " Not at all, We are friends ". At that time, I thought " Woah, She is very kind and friendly", I felt lucky to have met her. She helped me went home. Before I entered the home, I didn't forget to ask the address to contact her.

From there [since then], we became each other's best friend. Until now, when we were a freshman, we remain close friends.

As you said, environmental problems are always a global concern. And I could say that air pollution is the worst problem in Vietnam. There are too many cars and motorcycles on the street. Factories are also produce large amounts of smoke into the atmosphere which pollutes the air. These exhaust fumes are not only cause air pollution but also global warming. It has led to various illnesses and affect our health. Air pollution harms both human and animals. If people use public transports instead of their cars or motorcycles, maybe the air is cleaner. Of course, our country has to develop this kind of transport more. Industrial factories must clean up their emissions, too.

We can’t change this situation immediately but small steps can make big leap. Walk to school, recycle, waste sorting... this is what I can do to keep the environment clean. Don't you think so?

One day, I had a big argument with her because she said “ I am sorry, I wouldn’t want to leave you alone but I have to.I wouldn’t like to live in a town or sit in an office all day. I’m going to remote area to charity”. I was very sad about her decision. However, we have still kept in touch and I will always remember what she told me: “ some small changes to your life can do a big difference.”

 

After that, we started to be friend. That was not all, I found that we were the same age and ours house near each other. Since that, we nearly became best friend up to now.  

One day my mother need to buy new equipments, she asked me to look after the salon, then a girl came and wanted to shampoo so I had to do it. I served her attentively and we talked very well together, it made me neglect the work I was doing, I took the dishwashing liquid instead of shampoo! It was not until she commended that she loved the new very fragrant shampoo with lemon flavor that I realized I was wrong. I quickly changed the shampoo and apologized for my fault. I thought she would be very angry and I ready compensation but she just laughed and said I was silly.

When my mother finished her work and came back, I told her everything, which made her nagging me all week later and my family called me "clumsy Thao". The surprise was after that the girl and me made friend until now, about 9 years.

You asked me about environmental problems in my country. Well, water pollution is becoming a talking point now. It is threatening the marine life because some kinds of fishes have died for a week.

Our city has launched a campaign to clean the beach. I take part in this activity with my friends. We collect death fishes and rubbish along the sea shore three days a week. Everyone hopes that all will be ok soon and the beach will be fresh as well.

 You wanted to know about some of the environment problems in my country. As you know, the worst thing is Water pollution, especially the ocean environment more heavily polluted.

Source of water is increasingly contaminated by industrial wastes. Factories discharging untreated waste into rivers, lakes, streams,… In addition humans also caught fish by bomb or mine. People litter all over the coast. These are the causes for water ecosystems declining. 

Next week, I will take part in some activities such as sorting rubbish on the coast or at public area. In my opinion, we should raise awareness to people about environmental issues. 

I hope the project on the environment will be successful. And I think If nature is not kept healthy, human will be hard to survive.

You wanted to know about some of environmental problems in my country.Well, there are many things which make my country is becoming more pollute.But in my view, a serious problem is air pollution.

Air pollution is caused by emission from industries and manufacturing activitives. They emitted high levels of carbon monoxide, hydrocarbon and chemicals into the air. This happen almost everywhere that people live. Beside, cars, trains, trucks and air plane  burn lots of fossil fuels. This is one of the major cause of air pollution and one that is very difficult to arrange. Moreover, using fertilizers and pesticides also pollutes the atmophere.

Air pollution harm to the health of people. It can lead to more serious conditions such as heart diseases and cancers. It also causes damage to animals and plants.

Last week, i took part in 'The cleaner and greener program'. We planted many trees and collected rubbish on the stress. We also encouraged people to use more and more pubic transportation to reduce pollution. Everyone can  participate in protecting environmental by the simplest things. Protect environmental is protect our life.

The event started at 7 pm. At first, we listened to the speech of our headmaster.  Then, some actors appeared with many comedies. They made the atmosphere more excited since we could not help laughing all time. Especially, everyone had chances to take photos with them.

In the second part of the celebration, a quiz show is held. We answered 10 questions. Someone gave such silly words. Luckily, our class won the first prize. We were really impressed by this activity. We left at 10 and felt so happy.

I watched a cartoon called “Tom and Jerry” last night. I think you have seen it. They play tricks to the other and never leave anyone relaxed for a moment. It is very funny, isn’t it?

Tomorrow, there is a beauty contest on VTV3 at 8pm. This international competition is amazing every two years. I feel so excited to know who will be the Miss Beauty this year.

Although I was very sad, my friend made me surprise and happy. I came home after a long day. Suddenly my roommate, Myk, bring out the birthday cake and everyone sing happy birthday song. I can’t believe that everyone remember my birthday. They not only prepared cake, fruit, candy, biscuits but also decorated the room was lovely. We blow the candles together and enjoy a small party. I received a lot of wishes from friends and family then. University life sometimes make me feeling homesick but I always feel lucky to have good friends, they are like part of my family. 

It was an unforgettable party. I want my roommates to know that I love them so much.
 

My sister is a designer so she was in charge of decoration. My mother and I prepared food and drink. Victoria - my brother’s girlfriend helped us to write invitations. We wanted to surprise Mike but only four of us and so many things to do. In the end, we managed to finish everthing.

The party took place in our backyard. We invited my brother’s friends and some of our close relatives. It was warm and joyful. Everybody congratulated on my brother’s success. Some of them bought him presents, too. My family was very delighted and proud of him. Mike felt thankful and very happy.

My father was on his assignment so he couldn’t attend the party. That was so sorry! But he called home, that was enough!

Looked at my brother's graduation, I couldn't wait till I get my certificate.

Last night, I watched one of my favorite programs on TV – a tennis match. You knew that I’m a big fan of Novak Djokovic, right? He is taking part in Roland Garros – the second Grand Slam of the year.

It was a thrilling match. At first, Djokovic prevailed over his opponent. Therefore, he won the first two sets. But his opponent returned and fighted back. That made not only the audience but also me feel excited. The match lasted 4 hours and Djokovic proved why he is ranked no.1 in men’s singles tennis with a 4-set win. Because of that victory, he will be on the semi-final. I hope he will make a straight way to final.

I know you also like sports but I think a cooking show is better choice for you. I heard that you want to become a chef. So, why don’t you start watching Master Chef or Top Chef before taking a standard course? They are my favorite ones.

Last night, After finishing homework, I took the time to see a really interesting program called “Dad, Where are we go?”. This program talks about four fathers and their children’s journey without mothers. They must overcome a lot of challenge and difficulty, discover a large number of new things together. Therefore, they can know how to love and take care of other people more than. Moreover, almost children are quite lovely, their stupid action can make me smile all night. It will be so sorry if you don’t try to see it, I think you will like it very much.

Last night, I watched a pleasant program on TV after finished all my homework. It’s a reality show about famous people. Maybe they are a single, musician, actor or actress, athlete. But when they join the game in the show, all are the same. The game involve in soft skills, for example: how to escape from the fire? ; how to aid the external wounds?; how to prevent hazards when you lost in the jungle?...

It was shown weekly on VCTV channel at 8.00pm. I think you should spend the time to watch this show. It is very rewarding for us. Moreover, it also entertaining. I am sure that you'd like it.

When I arrived there, I couldn’t imagine the scene. There were so many colorful balloons, candles and cordons surrounding me. My close friends prepared everything to make me surprised. They also made the birthday cake with the title written on its face: “Smile, our sweetie! Your party was celebrated.” I burst out laughing. Then we enjoyed the food, drinks, cake and sang some songs together. What an unforgettable night!

My end-of-term literature test is surprisingly got the high point. I realized i said the wrong thing. Thanks for her teaching method, I had more practice and be more hard-working. I was really appreciate her.

I am writing to tell you about the environmental problem in my country. Water pollution has became the most serious issue in my country recently. There are a great due of huge factories that discharge into lakes, rivers or even beaches hundred tons of waste water every day. Some of them directly eject the alarming level of toxic chemical into the sea. If the government has the properly timely politic, this status won’t too be severe like that.

I have just join in the volunteer team at my area and we do many environmental activities every week. Despite not huge campaign, we help to improve the environment problem in our ward least.

Firstly, the advantages are that the canteen is underused and its food is not really good so that students’ health can be harmed. Furthermore, most of students usually come to the café opposite the school instead of the canteen because of the excellent café. In addition, students need a place to relax between and after lessons.

On the other hand, if the canteen has been closed, there will not a cheap and popular place to buy food any longer. Then, we all know we can use the TV in the coffee shop opposite the school since its owner is very generous. Moreover, many girls are afraid of that pool is popular among boys but not among them.

That is all the reasons that I wish the director will consider carefully before making decision on whether closing the canteen or not and have a lucid decision.

Introduction
the aim of this report is to consider the pros and cons of closing the canteen and using the space for student recreation room, and to make a recommendation to the director of the school.
Advantage
there are some strong arguments in favor of removing the machine. It is felt that it :
            - the canteen is underused.
            -the canteen food isn't very good
            - there's a Tv in the cafe opposite the school
            -students need a place to relax between and after lessons
Disadvantage :
Closing the canteen would also have drawbacks.
              -the canteen food is cheap
             -canteen is very popular
              -pool is popular among boys but not among girls
Conclusion
Although there are convincing arguments for closing the canteen, i believe on balance that the disadvantage of doing so outweigh the advantage. however i recoment that it 's replaced with a creation room with a TV and pool table to help students have relax time to prepare better for the lesson.

People nowadays are growing concerns that the canteen should be closed in order to leave space for student recreation room which includes a TV and pool table. Many surveys have been done with truly honest feedbacks from the students as well as the teachers of the school. This report contains the plus points and the minus ones of this issue and some practical and accessible solutions of which the director of the school can adopt.

According to the surveys, many ideas were given to support for the closure of the canteen.

This way can absolutely change the way they entertain and have a new look of their school.

Firstly, age limit is the most essential thing that we concerned. One of us is just 17, but he had traveled a lot and had many soft skills and hard skills, as well, and he is just 1 year old left under your limit. So I think you can consider the idea of lowering age limit for my team.

To what extent to you agree with this view ?
It is thought that the government  doesn't balance a budget  for  inapprociate money on arts, whereas other fields are more important. In my opinion, I totally agree that the investment is not proper as there are some crucial things like education or environment is poor standard.

TOPIC : Some people think that the art is an essential subject for children at school while others think it is a waste of time.
Several ideas to think that art lesssons is necessary for pupils in the chool . But there has many people to belive that it spends more time of students.

It is thought that the art is a necessary subject for children at school whereas some other people believe that it is time-consuming.

One compelling reason for this is that all the contemporary occupations nowadays are task specific which makes it a necessity for workers to be able to comply with every job requirement. Once they graduate they are expected to take over all the responsibilities their job needs them to do, have the know-how, as well as the expertise to carry out all the arduous and demanding tasks. For instance, as soon as I graduated from the Faculty of Philology I had to take a part-time teaching job. I was overwhelmed with all the expectations my employer had in everyday practice, whereas there was no need at all of all the theory I had mastered throughout my studies.

On the other hand, it is beyond doubt that most of the jobs would require employees to do a lot of multi-tasking and to be capable of meeting deadlines while conducting project work. Apparently, big companies would prefer to employ a person well-equipped with all the necessary knowledge related to several positions within their range, instead of over-staffing. Notwithstanding the competitiveness among businesses, there is always a huge demand for the top notch professionals within one sector. This will be possible, only and only if universities raise their standards and provide broad education and practice for their students.

In conclusion, I would maintain that tertiary education should be more content-specific and ensure the fastest and highest quality for their graduates. Not only will professionals be able to use their university knowledge as a catalyst towards their career, but they will be able to make a living out of it for a lifetime.

So why this happen and how to solve it? First, when registering for university entrance exam, students lack of career orientation. Because of choosing the wrong branch of learning, it leads to passive learning. They wait for teachers to convey knowledge, don’t prepare for the lesson and become lazier. There is no employer wants to recruit a person that mechanical and lazy. Second, some universities don’t train for their students what they need, some of them only trains hard skills and don’t focus or completely forget about soft skills. It’s make their students lose a big advantage of getting good job and compete with the others! 

So what should we do? Here is the solution! Universities should train simultaneously train hard and soft skills, cooperate with companies to help graduate students have a best change to get good jobs. The curriculum should stick to the profession the students choose. Schools should partner with businesses to enhance opportunities for students. Students need to receive detailed  career orientation. 

 Firstly, it is undeniable that universities’ functioning as a training ground would meet a great number of students’ needs. This is because the students’ primary goal to attend universities is to get a well-paid job. A well – paid job often requires candidates a high – valued qualification, which is only taken from the universities. Moreover, some employers are likely to ask for their proficiency in field-related skills. There is no other place to practice those skills but in universities. 

  However, universities should also become a place to educate proper behavior and dignity for students before moving to the adult world. According to the prestigious resource, universities are defined as a school providing students a degree. Once universities are school, they have responsibilities for providing their students with proper ethics in order not to mislead them with false conception. Therefore, training grounds for employment happening in universities would be too competitive to keep the proper behavior among students. 

 In conclusion, universities partly should function as a training ground for employment because of their likelihood to meet the students’ need as well as their fear of misleading students to a cruel mindset. Therefore, it is advisable that universities prepare carefully in broad terms before applying for an employee’s training program.
