Also, thanks to Mason and ALL the guys out in the field for taking time to stop their work to explain the details of their jobs and their journeys to TerraFirma.
Secondly, I lost count the number of times the folks at TerraFirma told me how much fun their job is. This surprised me! Since the work is very difficult, physically demanding, and everybody works long hours. But, when asked for details about why it was fun, they always go back to the environment that Ryan has worked to create. An environment where the management REALLY cares about the people. This idea is supported with the core idea of the TerraFirma of which are wrapped up in one word: "REDEFINE". - "One Team: Individuals unified as a family and empowered to be EXTRAORDINARY". I can see how REDEFINE and all four values could easily be applied to any organizations. 
Lastly, I enjoyed hearing from many people how important soft skills are for  employees.  This encouraged me to continue to teach these skills to my students.
