<title>When I’m teaching my in-person class, I actually miss having a “chat” feature, which is probably my favorite thing about teaching over Zoom. I tried to do something similar with Padlet (having the Padlet open to one side of my lecture presentation), but it’s not working great, because it doesn’t automatically scroll up when new comments are added. Does anyone know of a tool students could easily access on their phones and laptops that would do this? </title>

<title>On a positive note. I&#39;ve had more students respond to my check in emails. In the past, students who were falling behind all ignored me, now I&#39;m getting more responses, so we&#39;re making progress</title>

<title>Coming at this from a different angle, I&#39;ve been holding my ground when students ask to turn in late things, or do quizzes that have closed. There are options for them to make up those points, but I think they are learning that they need to pay attention to deadlines. I think it&#39;s good. </title>
