The black foot nations use to kill buffalo to get some coats, skin, and food. They traded fur for money to buy some food. And they made weapons to kill the buffalo easier. Sometimes the black foot people buy buffalo meat from the store. We teach our kids about our history and culture through our stories. The black foot people had wolves to help the black foot people to kill more buffalo. - We wonder how did they live. - We wonder how long they live for. The government gave them money to buy food. The black foot people were having trouble taking care of their health and care. For thousands of years the black foot people lived side by side with people from other cultures. Paulina- I wonder if the black foot people still trade. They moved camp close to water, and wood so it will be easier for them to survive and easier to get them. The black foot nations picked Saskatoon berries to try something new but the berries weren't bad are harmful. - We wonder how did they survive that long.
