My life felt dull and colorless. I had used color before in my artwork since I was small but my reasoning for using it wasn’t fitting. It made my art meaningless. I didn’t feel the passion for my art since something was missing. I was struggling growing up as an artist with applying color. I knew what to make something beautiful and full of color. As I have developed as an artist, I have spent so much time trying to figure out my proper usage of color. Colors mean everything to me within my art. 
        The vibrancy of my art is what makes me proudest. It makes my art feel like it’s bursting with life and meaning. The various shades and tones I choose to be within my art allow me to express the love I have for each piece. The contrast between my old art and my new art is a major difference. The art I made now shows the emotions and love I have for the colors. Coloring is very powerful in my art. Despite the lineart, the colors could change the meaning or tone of the drawing just by having a different shade. 
         As I have found more love for life, I have made more colorful art. I can express those emotions within my art but I want to do. I love to create art that makes people stop engaging with it. I want to create pieces with an abundance of colors and values to express the feelings within the piece itself and my own.
