It is very user-friendly while flaunting a variety of tools to customize your poll. The polls are easy to create and easy to access. It did not leave much to be desired.

Having just created a Mentimeter, I found Poll Everywhere to be inferior in just about every way. The user interface seemed cluttered and intimidating. After I perused the options briefly, PE did not seem to offer much more than Mentimeter did--its presentation is just more complicated. Accessing the poll also requires a long URL or having to use the text function on one's phone. I see no reason to use this over Mentimeter.

I enjoyed the simplicity of AnswerGarden. There was no need to create a username and the format was pretty free-form. I find this to be a virtual version of posing something to the class and picking on those who raise their hand. I suppose this would be more appealing to shy students (I myself would enjoying the attention of answering in front of the class). I would usually rather do without this, I think. Having students pull up AG would just lead to them getting distracted by their phone or computer.
