Narcissistic Personality

-Person thinks they are extremely important/ world revolves around them

-Some theorys include biological and genetic factors as well as social interaction during early developement. Can also be based off personal temperment.

-Some psychotherapy as well as some possible medications.

Emily and Ethan/Borderline Personality Disorder

-People with BPD have instability in relationships, self image, and emotions
-The onset for BPD is early adultood and it is observed in early social interactions
-Have a sense of impulsivity, recurrent sucidal behavior, chronic feelings of emptiness, and
inappropriate intense anger
Causes: There is no evidence of a cause for BPD but there is biopyschosocial (biological, psychological, and social) model of causation
Treatment: Long-term of psychotherapy and medications (antidepressants, anti-anxiety, and low doses of antipsychotic)

-popularaly known as "sociopath"

-mostly males

-cynical, arrogant, no empathy, impulsive, manipulative, above average intelligence

-cruelty to animals, fire setting, and other legal altercations are signs
