He explains how his summer was and how much work he did during his summers back then. Persuading the reader and thats what helps build his argument.  He then uses a simple question, "That was our summer vacation. What do our kids do today?"  This helps build his argument and by using a persuasive way by asking a question to make people now wonder if they do less work and are more lazier or not.  </p>]]></description>
