Impressed by their skills in missions, the male Partisans invited the all-female group to join in many missions. They burned down houses, executed Nazi collaborators, and aided men. Many times, the men were given credit for many of the missions that the women completed, as it was unthinkable that women were capable of such things. The women were often forced to sleep next to the men.

After this, out of revenge, she tracked down and killed the informer. After the war, the andartes fell out of favor with the new Greek government. Sarah’s rebel group was in opposition of the right wing Greek government, resulting in her eventual arrest before she was let go shortly after. She then immigrated to Israel where she met her husband and settled down.
