Quick story short, I have a family member that was on and off of drugs. I felt like I had to be responsible for her in some way or another because I love her and wanted to protect her. But it was consuming my joy, I was too suffering. Each of us have our own lessons in life. We must fall down and learn to get back up. We are responsible for ourselves and to others to an extent.

Individuals are part of society which is composed of all members of a group. Government is an institution that carries out certain duties and has specific responsibilities for a country. I believe their relationship is like any other relationship. It can be toxic, healthy, or even bumpy along the way. without a society, there wouldn't be a government.
