One aspect about the country chosen that I believe we, of the IR course will always be interested most about this country is the politics, especially regarding the Apartheid, which the group presented very well.
Culturally, the country is quite different both from Brazil and from Philippines, but one thing I found that is pretty similar, though not identical, to Brazil is that that country is known as the Rainbow Country and is still a very segregated country until nowadays. I believe the girls introduced us to the country in a really good, funny way.
As for the country itself, one information I found really curious, interesting and fun was some of the laws the girls talked about, such as people can't be loud while selling or that you "can" kill a person if they're pissing you off. As for similarities, I found some of their values quite similar to Philippines', such as family and generosity.

One thing that I also already knew, but that I find really interesting is the Haka (the dance). The meaning is beautiful and, if I'm being honest, the whole thing is also a little funny. One thing that I had no idea and is quite nice, though, is that up to almost the fouteenth century, no humans knew about that countrie's existence. 
One similarity between NZ and the Philippines is the importance of tourism. The dance and music videos the group showed were everything.

About similarities, I coudn't really find one, but I would like to point out a very essencial difference between them and us, brazilians, and that is the model of industrialization. I believe our group was really collaborative and we all did our best, even though we didn't have that much time to prepare (we had had a test the previous day).
