The human body has 5 systems. they are: Respiratory, Circulatory, Digestive, Muscular, and Nervous. Today we learned about the digestive system. First, you chew the food and swallow. Then it goes down your esophagus and lands in your stomach. It takes approximately 4 hours for the food to break down. the food then goes to the small intestine where it travels into the large intestine and then goes into the rectum and then anus. The waste food is the only thing that comes out because the nutrients have been absorbed into the rest of your body while in your stomach.

-Alexander There is circulatory, muscular, and digestI've to name a few. I know the most about digestive. In the digestive system, food goes in the mouth and you chew it to break it down. Saliva also helps to break it down. Then you swallow it and it goes to your stomach. In the stomach acid breaks it down to tiny pieces. Then the food goes on to the small intestine. This is where the nutrients get pulled off and go into your bloodstream. All the unusable particles go on to the large intestine where it gets turned into waste. Then it comes out at the end as poop. Without a digestive system we would probably be plants, and that means video games wouldn't have been invented.

Out of the 5 body systems, I think the circulatory system is very important. It's how the blood travels throughout the body, carrying oxygen and nutrients to the different organs. The heart pumps the blood and keeps the circulatory system going.
Watch this funny video to find out how the circulatory system works.

The human body has five different systems. These systems are called:
Digestive, Muscular, Circulatory, Nervous, and Respiratory.
The Digestive system is responsible for breaking down our food and turning it into nutrients for our body to use as fuel. It also gets rid of waste we don't need.
The Digestive system works when you eat food and your teeth break it down. Then saliva helps break it down more and then when you swallow your food goes into something called your esophagus and your esophagus takes it to your stomach and your stomach creates acid so it can make your food into a sort of tooth paste and then it goes into your small intestines. The small intestine sucks out all the nutrients and brings it to you blood which brings it to you body parts so you can be healthy and strong. Then the food goes into your large intestines and your large intestine sucks out all the water so it's dry like poop. Then the food goes into your anus and out into the toilet.
The Muscular system is responsible for moving our muscles and our organs.
The Circulatory system is responsible for moving blood and oxygen around our body.
The Nervous system is responsible for communicating messages from our brain to the rest of our body.
The Respiratory system is responsible for breathing in oxygen and moving it around our body. It also removes carbon dioxide out of our lungs.

Wonder Question:
My wonder question is why do your muscles sees up, when you exercise a lot?
