Sage is an herb from an evergreen shrub, and is part of the mint family. Its long, grayish-green leaves take on a velvety, cotton-like texture. Sage has been used throughout history and still is today as a medicine. A mild sage tea can ease stress, menstrual cramps, promote good digestion, and help regulate menstrual flow.
