The Taj Mahal was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a eternal tomb for his beloved wife who died in childbirth in 1631.

I see pillars, onion domes, water fountain, arched entrances, a garden, finials.

I don't find anything interesting

• Royal palace for King Louis XIV.

• Showed the power and wealth of the French monarchy.

What it look like:

• Huge, elegant palace with gold details, mirrors, and fountains.

• Beautiful gardens with perfect symmetry.

• Inside: Hall of Mirrors, chandeliers, painted ceilings.

Interesting Facts:

• Has over 2,300 rooms.

• The Hall of Mirrors was used to sign the Treaty of Versailles (ending WWI).

-Architect: Fariborz Sahba 

-Purpose: To serve as a place of worship for the Bahá'í Faith.  

- When you look at the building you see how it resembles a white lotus flower.  

-What I find interesting: how they used shape and form to make it look like a lotus flower and how it looks at night with the light.

-The Parthenon is a dedicated temple to Athena, the goddess of war and wisdom

-The building was a part of the Athenian acropolis, with classical traits such as intricate carvings of images and the signature Greek pillar architecture

-Part of the Parthenon was blown up, which is why a lot of it is missing, and it is interestingly earthquake resistant
