-We have a really good starting point! I think this time around we can look at more closely identifying what we do differently in grade levels and/or primary vs intermediate students.

- Big idea: get the students actively moving, trying new things, and finding what they like to become lifelong participants in physical activity.

- Look at our common assessments - go away from "5 question quizzes" and align assessments with what we really want them to KUD (possibly a shorter assessment to really get the data for use in upcoming lessons).

-Look at the SHAPE outcomes for KUD language

-Keep team lead-up gameplay for primary and modified team games for intermediate (culminating activity...skill lessons first in unit). This flows well into the middle school curriculum. Focus on the basics.

Health - Need to circle back and look at who is teaching what STILL - are nurses or guidance counselors? Add a nutrition lesson for grades 123.

Health idea - create mini health segment videos or activities. BrainPOP and KidsHealth

Keep in mind the ages of our elementary students and try to limit mental/emotional pressures.

Should elementary continue to do the PACER? Should we focus on introducing cardio assessments in elements of health and skill related fitness lessons and not running it during the year?
