A object at rest will always stay resting and an object in motion will always stay in motion except when a external force acts on the object. The first law of motion is shown in baseball when the pitcher throws the ball at rest making it in motion. The batter hits the ball with his bat and the ball does't stop moving until it either hits the ground or it hits the wall.

The second law states that force=mass times acceleration. This relates to baseball because if you hit a giant baseball the ball would not fly very far since its mass is big, but if you hit a normal sized baseball with the same amount of force it would fly farther.

Newtons third law states that for every action there is a equal and opposite reaction. This is shown in baseball when the batter hits the baseball with his bat the baseball changes direction. The ball changing direction was a reaction to the action of hitting the ball. Another example is the ball hitting the ground. When it hits the ground the ground pushes up on it the same amount of force.
