Creativity:

We have students creating and updating our notice boards, ensuring they stay relevant with the events in the time of year and cultural events (we have to make sure its culturally sensitive aligned with being in Qatar)

Activity

We have students running events such as sporting tournaments which also raise money for certain causes but supports healthy lifestyles

Beach clean ups and community events around sustainability

Service:

I think this links a few aspects of geography to be honest but as head of year I have to deliver assemblies, our y12 IB students have already engaged in this, they've used the IB learner profiles and links to current issues in ks3 (behaviour/attitude) in order to address issues and support further

Some CAS activities that can be linked to Geography include creativity projects such as designing posters on climate change, creating thematic maps, or making short videos on sustainable tourism. For activity, students can join field trips to study land use, take part in clean-up programs like beaches or rivers, plant trees, or even go hiking while learning about ecosystems. In terms of service, they may volunteer in environmental campaigns, help communities with recycling projects, teach others about water and energy conservation, or support disaster awareness programs.

Student Ilya. This CAS experience is not finished yet, however, it's related to Geography. To be precise, it's online volunteering on one of the projects on zooniverse.org website. The project is called "Sudan Road Access: Logistics Cluster", so the main idea is to show the wadis (dry rivers) on the maps of key road supply routes for humanitarian aid in Sudan. The purpose is to help with planning better routes in order to avoid floods which might come from those wadis during the rainy seasons.

Power, places and networks.

Service. Student Tomas. Volunteering in the organization "Vilnius Vorai", where the goal is to collectively weave camouflage nets, which are sent to the front in Ukraine.

And Red Cross, where I helped sort first aid kits and other things, which were sent to Ukraine and elsewhere where these things are needed.

Geopolitical and economic risks.
