My major here at CI is Performing Arts with an Emphasis in Music. I took 15 units at community college and while it was challenging, it was do-able. So I took 16 units here. Let's just say I won't do that again! 
I love all the classes but the workload is tough. Some of my classes require watching numerous videos/films (about an hour each) per week, combined with reading and writing a paper for the week. The music classes require practice, study, etc.
I'm an "older student" I started back to school in the early 2000s but had to stop for family reasons. I'm back, over 50+ and I feel like I'm doing the best I can but I would really like more time to devote to each subject. Especially the music classes. 
Everyone has been great! Instructors are excellent, lots of help and support is available. Other students are eager for you to succeed.
