Although I’m officially retired, I now teach and tutor youth and adults at three synagogues in the Twin Cities and serve as a cantorial soloist at a synagogue in Rochester, MN.  I have a master’s degree in education with focus in psychological counseling. I am currently the Youth Director at Beth Jacob.  I enjoy swimming, gardening, cooking, and do not enjoy Global Pandemics. The main idea of the ethics class (spoiler alert!) is that Judaism should help you think differently and make decisions about things that are important to you in your day-to-day life (but you still have to come to class to learn the details).

My name is Dalia Davidson (he/him). I grew up in Evanston, IL which is a suburb just outside Chicago. I am currently a sophomore at Macalester College studying education. In high school I taught at the local chabad hebrew school. I also spend my summers at Habonim Dror Camp Tavor as a counselor. My passion is working with kids and creating a joyous relationship with Judaism so I'm super excited for what this year brings.

I think the best Jewish holiday is Sukkot, because you get to be outside all the time. I
love coming to shul, but would much rather be in class than sitting still in services. I'm
