I based it off of Kat from 10 Things I Hate About You because shes the most modern version of Katherine. In my opinion Lisa Simpson is the perfect example of Katherine (I know she's not real but still). Lisa is smart and a rebel at heart, she always sticks up for what she feels is right, similar to a modern view on Katherine. With every post on this padlet I did it from a very feminist liberal-ish point of view because right now in society and media most rebellious teen girls identify as liberal and for social justice. All the magazines, books, and music on this padlet are well known liberal/feminist media. 

Based on that point of view, in my mind, it makes sense that Katherine would put a cartoon picture for her profile picture instead of herself because she believes people shouldn't be basing her profile likeness off of her attractiveness.
