The white colour  is the symbol of peace that the rulers of Qatar and its people are striving for.

The maroon colour symbolizes the last blood, which is the blood of the martyrs from the sons of Qatar who fought many battles for the sake of the unity of the State of Qatar, especially in the last half of the nineteenth century.

The nine heads  indicates that the State of Qatar is the largest member of the Trucial States of the Arab Gulf states.
 
Lastly, I respect the flag and the anthem with al pleasure.

First, what does the flag of Qatar mean? The white color symbolizes peace and purity, and the maroon color indicates the blood that watered the homeland during the Qatari wars, and the nine triangles indicate that the State of Qatar is the ninth member of the Trucial States in the Arab Gulf states.


And after we got acquainted with the meaning of the flag of Qatar, let's talk about ways to respect the flag. For example, in schools, all students stand and chant along with the anthem, and not to talk to friends.

Finally, I respect the flag and the national anthem with pleasure.

Many believe the maroon colour signifies bloodshed and the white represents peace during wartime. However, that's not the case. In fact, for centuries, ancestors of today's Qataris dyed their flags a red colour that was found at the area that is known as Purple Island today. Exposure to the sun would fade the flag colour to a maroon or purplish-red colour.

WAYS TO RESPECT THE FLAG :
It's not allowed to use the Qatari flag for a purpose that contradicts its original use or to add any phrases, pictures or designs to it.

 The flag must be folded and tied in a way that does not make any of it dangle and touch the ground when transporting or carrying it.

Since the beginning of the twentieth century, the economy of Qatar has been changed. the state's activities earlier were grazing, fishing, agriculture and pearl mining, but the radical change in the state of Qatar has been a major development since the extraction of oil.
The State has received a great diversity in the fields of production, services and distribution, which has led many of the population of countries to immigrate to and reside in it. It is worth mentioning that the oil sector is the main factor of the national economy. The country has many industries, such as chemical products, iron, clothing, foodstuffs, wood, ceramics, and electricity. Qatar's GDP was about $ 216.1 billion and about $ 102,100 per capita in the year, according to the 2013 statistics. The unemployment rate reached 0.3%.
