This is when some students stay in the classroom for small group instruction and some leave for small group instruction. Reading workshop.

IRLA reading time is from 10:15 am till 10:45 am. This is whens students read at their colored reading level. Independent time to read but the teacher does work with some students one on one during this time. 

Writing is from 10:50 am till 11:25 am. This is when students work independently on writing task or they do whole group instruction for writing skills. 

ELA/Writing Carryover is from 11:25 am till 11:45 am. This is where students work on any literacy work that they need to finish up for the day. This time can be used for independent work, skills groups, or whole group instruction.

One Green - Kindergarten - 1 student

Students know their levels and only read from their leveled book boxes. Students are quick to point out if a friend is reading from the wrong level.

The classroom runs very effectively.
