Students need a lot of direction as to how to work cooperatively. Projects need to be structured so that roles are defined and each student has to be accountable for their role.

Pull outs for advanced and resource make it difficult to integrate subjects. For example, I love to integrate social studies and reading, but have 10 students pulled out during either of those time slots during the day. Food for thought.
