The connection found was creation of art, since it is a major therapeutic remedy used in our world. Even though our projects did not have any connection towards what I will be producing, It was still interesting to learn about what he is doing. This was beneficial towards my project, because of the different view points and methods he is using in order to demonstrate the knowledge he is portraying about RLC weather. Cassidy's discovery day project focuses on how we might change the social norms around transgender individuals, mainly those of the LGBTQ. We made connections through taking her insight of the mental health concerns with people of LGBTQ. Then I realized it intertwines with my research upon rising up against the battle of mental illness within teens to improve our health and self acceptance.
