Timing: 60-90 minutes asynchronous

session learning outcomes:

1. Build on interview skills and language used to formulate answers in an interview setting.

At the end of this session, students will be able to:

1. Distinguish the difference between formal and informal language.

2. Design questions relevant to the given scenario

3. Reflect on their own interview skills and build on them.

Find resources on interview language and practice. Post the one you feel is the best on the class padlet discussion board provided. You must comment or like your peers posts.

start by asking the students what they know about the video focusing on formal and informal meaning (use a padlet to get students answers) then give an overview using powerpoint.

Timing: 15 minutes

Students will be put in groups of two they will each create a set if interview questions for the job description of a part time sales associate. They will have to interview each other with the questions they have made and post it on the the google classroom.
