The quote I chose is important because it shows how some kids care more about social media than real life. In the quote it says: "Sometimes kids are worried more about being a character than having character."
which is a problem because soon those kids will have those habits as adults. Also this is a problem now because they might not even graduate college and end up with nothing.

This is the quote I choose because this is a really true fact. Some people can get influenced by other people to do bad things like this and which those bad things can lead you down a bad turn. Some people will also do something in ¨return¨ so you wont tell it to anyone but even if you keep things like these a secret, it will go in an endless cycle and it wont stop, and then it will start to effect people like make them depressed, sad and even wanna hurt yourself. I chose this quote because i think it makes a lot of sense. If you don't want your collage to reject you because of bad acting on the internet, Either don't post, Think before you post, Or don't bring up the stuff he said. It just doesn't make sense why you would in the first place. The stuff you say on social media should be the same as you say in real life, Like you wouldn't walk up to a random person and say something really offensive, So why say it on the internet?

I think this quote means that Mask is not messing around with his players due to the fact that he hired an assistant to monitor what they do and say on social media because if they mess up or say anything unnecessary then it can cost them their scholarship offer. I think hiring this assistant is a smart idea because as said in the paragraph, "College programs are increasingly using Twitter, Instagram, and other social media accounts to evaluate a player's character.", you become really fixated on your internet life that it can be tempting to say things online that can possibly trigger other people. That puts a bad reputation on your school and team which is unacceptable.

I think that the quote I chose is very strict,because you don't know the person they could be going trough something and he could of changed by then. You can't judge someone by something they said you have to get to know them. I think it's crazy that someone can lose there scholarship because of one mistake they did in the past. i understand that he or she did something bad but that's a little to far.

This quote keeps us thinking that anything that we post could affect our future. It helps us make good decisions so anyone that sees our social media would know we could make good decisions to better our future. Although we might think the choices we make won't affect us as much. It could say a lot about us to other people. It could say a lot about how we act or even our personality. So, next time think about what you post and ask yourself might this better my future or destroy it.

I think the quote I chose is important because a student (or someone) could say something really mean and if a school takes that student to their school, it could impact the schools reputation. It can also have an impact on the student too because he/she could get in trouble for cyber bullying another student or kid in general. It ALSO can have an impact on the student's future. Not being able to go to a good high school or college means not being able to find a job. I agreed with this quote because it makes a lot of sense you don't wanna harass someone over their looks nor their racial background. Also if you treat them badly it'll look horrible on you and you'll look like someone people will/would want to avoid especially on the internet  because don't forget "whatever you say never disappears even after it goes off your profile" so if you're biased to a person off of how they look/act/and overall are then you're in the wrong and why say it at all even on the internet.
